Stay for a While

Looking out from my window, I glanced at the sky
Then I thought what makes these moments quick to fly.

I wished I could pause the spring’s scent and summer’s sunshine
If the miracle would happen, every particle would be fine.

Suddenly a little ray of sunshine sneaked in through my window
Smiled to me and said “let me shine”.

The magical glimpses of nature’s beauty was at it’s peak
Trees were like brides wearing colorful leaves, beautiful and shy.

As beautiful as the spring roses, summer’s dew and winter’s snow
I asked the autumn, “could you please stay for a while?”
